Our multi-disciplinary team is comprised of consultant obesity physicians, consultant bariatric surgeons, bariatric anaesthetists, psychologists, clinical nurse specialists (CNS), bariatric dieticians, exercise therapists and pathway co-ordinators.

We endeavour to provide the best possible treatment for each individual patient based upon the latest clinical evidence available whilst ensuring that patients are seen within suitably equipped dedicated out-patient and in-patient areas. Our team members are readily accessible to provide advice and we also run a monthly patient support group. Our consultant bariatric surgeons provide a 24-hour, 7-day a week specialized bariatric service.

Laparoscopy can be used to help diagnose a wide range of conditions that develop inside the abdomen or pelvis. It can also be used to carry out surgical procedures, such as removing a damaged or diseased organ, or removing a tissue sample for further testing (biopsy). Laparoscopy is a type of surgical procedure that allows a surgeon to access the inside of the abdomen and pelvis without having to make large incisions in the skin.
